I am a current PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle, conducting research on the effects of the toxin acrylamide on the male reproductive tract and the consequences for future generations under the supervision of Dr Roman and Prof Brett Nixon. I completed my Bachelor of Science at the UoN in 2014 and Honours (Class I) under the supervision of Dr
Shaun Roman in 2015. I was awarded the Australian Postgraduate Award in 2015 and commenced my
PhD studies in 2016. In 2017, I was awarded the HMRI-SA ‘Future’
Postgraduate Medical Research Top-Up Scholarship to support my work.
