Humphrey Hung-Chang Yao
Dr. Humphrey Hung-Chang Yao is the Senior Principal Investigator of the Reproductive Developmental Biology Group at National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS/NIH) in USA. Before he joined NIEHS in 2010, Dr. Yao was an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Yao received his Ph.D. degree at the University of Illinois in 1999, completed postdoctoral training at Duke University in 2002, and became a faculty member at the University of Illinois in 2003. Dr. Yao has published 58 papers in Science, Genes & Development, PNAS, Nature Communications, Development, Biology of Reproduction, Endocrinology, and other journals. He was the winner of March of Dimes Basil O’Connor Starter Scholar Award, Pfizer Research Excellence Award, New Investigator Award from the Society for the Study of Reproduction, Young Andrologist Award from the American Society of Andrology, Best Invited Speaker of the 18th European Testis Workshop, and 2016 NIEHS Division of Intramural Research Mentor of the Year Award.
