Peter Fuller
Professor Peter Fuller AM is currently Head of the Centre for Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Hudson Institute (formerly Prince Henry’s Institute of Medical Research) and Head of the Endocrinology Unit at Monash Health. After completing his early research training at Melbourne’s Prince Henry’s Hospital’s Medical Research Centre under the supervision of Professor John Funder and clinical endocrinology training under Jim Stockigt and Henry Burger, he completed postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts General Hospital. His research interests lie primarily in understanding the molecular mechanisms of adrenocortical steroid hormone action. His group also studies the molecular pathogenesis of endocrine tumours. He has received awards from the Welcome Trust, the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the British Endocrine Society. He is a Life Member of the Endocrine Society of Australia.
